Chelsea
Chelsea are an English punk rock band, formedin London in 1976.
Three of the four original band members went on to help foundGeneration X. More than two decades after its release, ‘Right To Work’, Chelsea’s debut single, was included in Mojo magazine’s list of the best punk rock singles of all time.
The original line-up was front-manGene October, Billy Idol (guitar),Tony James (bass) and John Towe (drums, who had come fromLondon SS along with James). After a few gigs, the other three left October to form Generation X . October then recruited Carey Fortune (drums), Martin Stacy (guitar) and Bob Jessie (bass), with the last two soon replaced by Henry Daze and James Stevenson (who later joined Generation X). This rapid turnover of band-members was characteristic throughout Chelsea's existence, with October the only constant presence.
Their first single, "Right To Work", dealing with unemployment, was their most popular song. After spending 1977-78 touring in the UK and overseas, they released their first LP, Chelsea, in 1979. Their second LP, Alternative Hits, was released in 1980. At this time the band split and Gene put together a new lineup, including guitarist Nic Austin, which recorded the critically acclaimed album Evacuate. Gene October put out albums sporadically with various lineups throughout the 80s and 90s.Saturday 29 November 2008

The series tells the story of a family fromStockolm, consisting of the widowed author Melker Melkersson (played byTorsen Lilliecrona ) and his four children: 19-year-old Malin (played by Louise who assumes the role of mother in the family, the imaginative 13-year-old Johan, 12-year-old Niklas who is calm and down-to-earth, and 7-year-old Pelle, who loves animals of all kinds. The Melkersson family spend their summer holidays as well as some winters on Saltkråkan, an idyllic place symbolising the unspoilt archipelago. The year-round inhabitants of the island are sometimes amused by the ineptness of the city dwellers, but they become fast friends with the Melkersson family: when the idyll is threatened, such as when the house the Melkerssons rent is being sold, the islanders rise to help their friends keep their summer paradise.
The Melkersson children become friends with the local kids:Tjorven (actually Maria) Grankvist who is the same age as Pelle and who owns a huge Bernard dog named Båtsman, her older sisters Teddy and Freddy who teach Johan and Niklas to row and sail, and Stina, a gap-toothed Stockholm girl who spends her summer holidays with her grandfather, and who tells endless stories to the long-suffering adults around her. (Astrid Lindgren added the character of Stina to the script when Olle Hellbom had met Kristina Jamtmark and thought that she would make a good addition to the group of children.)
The 13 episodes of the TV series were re-made into a movie in 1968, but the original TV series is re-run almost yearly in Swedish television, and some of the actors have become very closely associated with their characters in the series. The series has been translated into German, and was popular enough to be broadcasted over 20 times until now.

The boys es una de esas bandas legendarias del 77 aunque sus integrantes vienen de una gran linea de bandas , casino steel formaba parte de los "hollywood brats" que vendria siendo la version de los new york dolls inglesa ,actualmente siguen tocando , despues de la desintegracion del grupo honest john guitarrista de la banda formo la banda "the crybabys". Ademas los mismos integrantes formaron despues a "the yobs" ellos se hacen llamar como los alteregos d the boys sus canciones son acerca de la navidad pero de una manera bizzara. Actualmente casino steel y honest john formaron " the last rock and roll band" en la cual se puede escuchar una parte de ese gran sonido de los boys. The boys es una gran banda en la historia del rock and roll y una de mis preferidas ,tal vez mucha gente los desconoce pero vale la pena escuchar su musica se que les encantara.

Nina Simone
Eunice Kathleen Waymon, better known by her stage name Nina Simone was a fifteen-time Grammy Award-nominated American singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger and civil rights activist. Although she disliked being categorized, Simone is generally classified as a jazz musician. Simone originally aspired to become a classical pianist, but her work covers an eclectic variety of musical styles besides her classical basis, such as jazz, soul, folk, R&B, gospel, and pop music. Her vocal style is characterized by intense passion, a loose vibrato and a slightly androgynous timbre. Sometimes known as the High Priestess of Soul, she paid great attention to the musical expression of emotions. Within one album or concert she could fluctuate between exuberant happiness or tragic melancholy. These fluctuations also characterized her own personality and personal life, worsened by bipolar disorder with which she was diagnosed in the mid-1960s, but was kept secret until 2004. Trotskids
Trotskids
Rennes 1982 : La New Wave est à son apogée avec des groupes comme Etienne Daho, Marquis de Sade et autre Ombre Jaune (Futur Niagara). Mais tout ça est un peu trop gentil pour une dizaine d'allumés qui foutent allègrement le bordel dans tous les endroits publics de la ville et sa région... En Mars de la mème année, les Trotskids se forment autour de Ruff (basse), Félipé (batterie), Doumé (chant), Yvan (guitare) ; Ils sont rejoints de temps à autre par un deuxième batteur, Nono. Sans plus attendre, ils se produisent dans quelques MJC en compagnie de leurs potes Brestois Les Collabos et Quimperois Les Ostrogoths. Tout va très vite puisque pour leur sixième concert ils brûlent les planches aux Transmusicales devant 1500 personnes. Les deux frangins Doumé et Félipé, ainsi que Ruff montent sur Paris pour du boulot. Yvan ayant décidé de rester à Rennes, nos lascards engagent Oliv, un pote Rennais, pour tenir la poêle à 6 cordes et c'est reparti pour une série de concerts en Bretagne ainsi que le Festival Chaos à Angers. Suite à l'excellent titre "Gueule d'Enfer" sorti sur la désormais célèbre compilation Chaos En France Vol.1, le label Chaos Production leur propose d'enregistrer un maxi 6 titres au studio WW à Paris. Le groupe s'affirme de plus en plus et récidive peu de temps après avec un nouveau titre : "Pas de Voyous dans mon Bar" pour le deuxième volume de la compilation Chaos.
